Run With the Wind

Run with the wind that churns your waves

the wildness consuming your pain

awakening all that is fresh and new.

You know she’s there by kiss of her breeze

motion of the swells bathing your skin.

Run with the wind dancing and swaying

touching your psyche, renewing your wild

howling and prancing, blowing sand

dusting your face, reminding you she’s there

and will always be for the remainder of time.

Awakening passion and fire in your soul

fluttering your breezes to romantic places

caressing your eyelashes in fiercest squalls

cushioning you in pillowed clouds, drifting

Run with the wind whose wildness flows freely

lingering in your essence, shining your stars.

the wilder places in the world

untamed raw is wild

as it was, its always been,

is what all saw, have seen and remember

that cannot should not be stored or confined

in a package or by fence,

only to the eye restrained by memory

untamed raw is the way you left it

and the way it should forever be

bold, without handles and best left untamed

no synthetics, like plastic or paper

or bound pretentious hearts

untamed raw is wild

like a stallion horse, free flowing mane

running in fast motion, nostrils flaring

hard hoofs striking, sparking flashes

in the hard rock, in open nature

wild raw as it was, its always been,

is what you see in faraway lands hard to reach

before it was ever seen, untouched by change

unmoved by meddling man of industry

no highways, no fast food,

no human touch those corrupted places

of barbed or razor wire and sulfuric belches of gas

global warming strains and stains

like mountains, rivers and trees

pristine pretty pure

just there like they've ever been in the midst of raw

what only birds and bears and wolves ever saw

unmoved by clouds, unchanged by steel, or human claws

wild is the wilder, the most wild,

like as in the suffix ness, most full of

to the extreme degree, only the natural

the things that lay as they lay,

as they've always lain

natural things in nature that erupted

far away and flowed, hot then cooled

things of the earth, its molten liquid lava rock

its substance formed long, long ago

solidified to things in the wild, the wilder ness

for trees and rivers and mountains

for wolves and bears and birds that sprung

with the wild non-living things, being wild too

things in the free under the clouds

things in places for you and me to go to

to reach for, to grow with and preserve our sanity

Wild Freedom

Friendly hearts combined into one,

A sense of release and freedom.

No care for what will come,

Or how much time will lapse,

While they are out in the world.

Twirling freely in the wind,

Their cares in the pit of the ocean,

Worries melting in the sun.

A youthful sense of appeal

Mixed with mindless elation.

This is how life should be.

Wild and free.

Where the Wild Ones Were

Utterly untamed teens

racing rampant through an

abandoned alley

on the month's first friday night.

Savagery of the heart

portrayed in tears of joy

tears of frustration,

and of loss,

holding hands with the sister of different blood.

Unbroken spirits,

desperately being

whipped into conformity

by societal standards and dreams

of generations past.

Primitive, barbarian efforts

at freedom and self-expression;

casting glances across a field

of artwork and shitty poetry,

prose of the wild ones.

Wild

To be wild

means freedom to me

I've been told I'm wild

Because I live my life carefree

I don't give a crap what "Betty

better than you" thinks if I go out.

Wild is probably uncivilized

and I live right on the edge of that.

Wild to me is freedom from all

of mans contraptions of what man

thinks man needs, and living off the land.

Wild. Free. Apart from civilization.

Wild

Willfully unrestrained

Irrationally unruled

Lawlessly immoral

Deviously fun

Wild

The wild rejects the shackles

imposed on it by others;

Valuing only its freedom,

it admits no gods, no masters.

If it were otherwise,

it would no longer be.

Circle of Life

The wise woman weeps

For the world in chaos

Attempting to guide others

In the ways once lost

The mother nurtures

Her children in slumber

Calm as a summer breeze

Guiding them on their path

The maiden dances

Around the blazing flames

Long hair flowing as a cloud

Around a beautiful face

Maiden, mother, crone

The circle of life

But only the maid

Dances to the beat of the drums

Loves to the heart of her soul

Surges like the waves of the sea

A part of nature and all surrounding her

Wild, untamed, enjoying life

Until the time her maidenhood ends

And the mother she becomes.
