Some say love is an idea 

    planted in our mind

Some believe love is something

    you will never find

Is love real or is it all just 

     a romantic ideal?

I think very logically and 

     I'm a fan of science

Regarding practicality

     you'll get no defiance

I also have another side 

     of me that should be noted

My belief in magic has as of

     yet to be corroded

I believe in spirits and the 

     goddesses and gods

As to true love's existence

     what do I think the odds?

I know love of every kind

     I am mother, sister, and lover

There are people in my life 

     I hold higher than the others

I'm pretty sure that those who say

     love doesn't exist

Are the unfortunate ones that

     true love has missed

Love is when someone else becomes 

     a part of your soul

If you have to live without them 

     you just can't feel whole

Some kinds of love are everlasting 

     and never go away

Sometimes it's more like fireworks

     a brilliant display

But I do know that when you feel it

     it's definitely there

Whether it's brief or eternally 

     love makes you aware.

Love is the collective positive energy your soul

stores up automatically with each time you get a hug, a kiss, an exchange of mutual admiration for one another, or respect.

Touch is very important in conveying the mutual

feeling of love from Soul to Soul in that it allows the two to reinforce how they feel toward each other.

Human touch has been found to be most beneficial in the development of infants, for without it they die. During touching love is shared without words.

To convey love one does not need words.

Just simply be, the love is already there.

A human can die without love.

There are some who are love starved.

We live a shadow of a life.

To know what the real thing feels like, oh

Nirvana!

But it isnʼt for one such as I.

Love is only for the righteous and pure of heart and I am neither.
