Your loathing and rejection of me made my hands fumble around, awkwardly grabbing onto items I once cherished. I realized I didn't know who you were anymore. I didn't know who I was either.

I glanced at the same beige bag sagging in the shopping cart, unknowingly feeling a sense of comfort within it. I went back to looking at the colorful sprinkles and arrays of colorful temptations. I get lost in my own thoughts and turn around. Panic and shock flood my chest. My small feet pad to the end of the isle. Eyes shifting. Heart racing.
