Write a Poem that begins with "Together" and ends with "Forever"
AlJstewart in Poetry & Free Verse

Vows

Together we wander in a thick mist

Everything clouded and shrouded

What was accepted as fact now doubted

Nothing Is where it is supposed to be

Everything tinged with the dampness of uncertainty

How long will you stay with me on this perilous endeavor?

"I already told you, baby, I'll be with you forever"

Challenge
Tell me a story in 15 words.
This time using only 15 words tell me the most complex story you can. Example: A soldier may come home, but if defeated, why return?
AlJstewart

Uncaring

With no one to care for her, my diagnosis would be her death sentence too.

Challenge
Sentence story starter.
AlJstewart

And so it began

"Hello? ACLU?" he asked with great urgancy, careful not to drop his phone while running full speed. "We need your help. My name is Adam. My wife Eve and I are being evicted from our home by a religious fanatic. Can you help us?"

Challenge
Panic Attack
Write/describe a panic attack. Poetry or prose. Don't describe the events that led to the panic attack, but you can write a small introduction if you like. (I will be providing a panic attack of my own too :)
AlJstewart in Flash Fiction

Panned Panic Attack

Tell me if you can: How does one “provide” a panic attack?

Maybe it’s just sloppy writing, the words of a hack

Or maybe there is something afoot that is far more sinister

Is the author hinting at an awful scheme she’s about to administer?

You see, by their nature panic attacks are vague

Essentially it’s primal fear, you avoid it like the plague

A panic attack can phone you…then own you, stone you and dethrone you

A panic attack can rip at your soul and destroy all you hold dear

A panic attack is brutal and ruthless, as are the people who traffic in fear.

A panic attack is a sudden discomfort like when your face gets smacked.

It’s a car crash, terrible news or when your computer gets hacked.

No, a panic attack ain’t no fun and games.

It destroys, it hurts, it belittles and maims.

So there you have it, I said my peace, I’m done with my all my chiding

But please do refrain from telling me about a panic attack you plan to be providing

Karma's a Bitch. Fiction or non-fiction, poetry or Prose.

Gin & Ironic

After far too many years of reckless inebriation

I spontaneously decided on a complete cessation

SO I impulsively threw into the wind my entire gin and tonic

"No longer will I imbibe!" I said, without a hint of being ironic

"From this day forward, no more more booze will I consume"

It was an absolute decree, for equivocation there was no room

I said it out loud, as the liquid from my glass flew skyward

Even a devoted lush nearby, may have likely been inspired

But gravity is irrefutable and yes, my friends: karma is a bitch

For the trajectory of the hooch I tossed a loft, suddenly did switch

So instead of falling harmless in a direction that was south

The contents of that delicious drink, flew right into my mouth

Adam and Fleas

Among poems, "Adam had 'em,"

Is considered the shortest of these.

It makes sense with the title,

Which is "Fleas"

Challenge
A poem about the color blue without mentioning the color
AlJstewart

Rhymes with Peru

Ponder this for me: A task you should easily tame

Conjure a ubiqutous hue, without actually mentioning it by name

It's synomymous with the sea, a robin's egg and, on a good day, the sky

It's a comic telling dirty jokes, sapphirine, even a shade of hair dye you can buy

It's paired-up with words like royal, berry, chip, powder and even blood

It can be a fish, a bonnet, or rising from the ground as a Morning Glory bud

Yes it seems, few words or as versatitle, impactful or as visually stirring

So even without metiuoning it by name, you get the color to which I am referring
