A poem about the color blue without mentioning the color
AlJstewart

Rhymes with Peru

Ponder this for me: A task you should easily tame

Conjure a ubiqutous hue, without actually mentioning it by name

It's synomymous with the sea, a robin's egg and, on a good day, the sky

It's a comic telling dirty jokes, sapphirine, even a shade of hair dye you can buy

It's paired-up with words like royal, berry, chip, powder and even blood

It can be a fish, a bonnet, or rising from the ground as a Morning Glory bud

Yes it seems, few words or as versatitle, impactful or as visually stirring

So even without metiuoning it by name, you get the color to which I am referring
