Using smiles, tears, fears and truth in math [Attempt]

In love

(smile)^tears=happines

(-smile)^tears=misery

(s)^t=m

(s)^t=h

t√h=-( t√m)

t root of h equals negative t root m

Truth isn't Truism

1∙fear=loneliness

2∙fear=?

3∙fear=hate

(f+3f)∕2=2f

(loneliness+hate)∕2=2f

(l+h)=4f

l and h equal four f

Loneliness and hate bring forfeit

Crash Courses

I can tell you about our chemistry,

we connected like strong ionic bonds

that absolutely nothing could break us apart

I can tell you about our Physics

that somehow defy Newtons law

because there was no gravity, no friction

just a single force pulling us closer and closer together

and I can tell you about our anatomy

I was sure I was built with your rib

So, who is she?

I guessed you had an extra rib

Oh, wait! I could Bible Studies

pretty sure it wasn't Adam, Eve, and Eva

but you have to do the  math to divide a smile by a tear times fear equals mere truth.

The Square-Root of Wrong.

All day

all the time

we do the math

in a linear line

deeper understanding

kept confined

missing the connections

intertwined

to divide a smile

by a tear

is to beguile

with woeful cheer

or perhaps rile

to remain austere

all to reconcile

away from a sneer

times fear

equals mere truth

sharp jeer

not so clear sleuth

light leer

may appear uncouth

"act queer

or lie dear youth"

      Tooth and nail

          always in flight

              perspective undone

                 with select sight

                     caught in the web

                        of another plight

                            mistaking darkness

                                for something bright

                                    so-easy to do

                                       from such height

                                           wielding a sword

                                                of elders right

                                                    sharing of wisdom

                                                        more like might

                                                             potent judgement

                                                                   as good as smite

All day

all the time

we do the math

in a linear line

deeper understanding

kept confined

missing the connections

intertwined

The square-root of wrong

with good intentions

gone on for so long

evolving dimensions

to make us feel strong

with our own impressions

living in the throng

of life with questions

subtracting doubt

for a better time

building clout

to pacesetter prime

ready to shout

"not my fetter-grime"

walking our route

around debtor slime

             To climb above

                  unable to fall

                     willing ourselves

                          to know it all

                               expecting others

                                   to stand as tall

                                       careless of how

                                           we write the scrawl

                                                 because we have

                                                     lived that brawl

                                                         experience

                                                             provoking gall

                                                                 to give advice

                                                                     as if our call

                                                                        not thinking of

                                                                             the bigger squall

All day

all the time

we do the math

in a linear line

deeper understanding

affair.

I was never good at math

So I'll watch, pitilessly

While I break your heart and

Force your sadness through

The salt from your tears

As I tell you the truth of my goings on...

Windows.

I rubbed my eyes and looked around so that no one would see. Quickly, I searched for an empty room to cry because I’d found out that my ‘friends’ were only using me because I was ‘convenient’.

When I came into the room by accident, he was looking out the tall window.

He shined with his school uniform and I found myself staring shamelessly. I wondered if he was aware he was the school idol because he was the genius that was going to graduate a year before me even though we were the same age.

His hand held the curtain as he looked down intently.

“I wonder if it’ll be fun in the university. They said that about high school. “ He rested his chin on his arms. “But I never did all that…”

There were shouts from the field, people playing soccer and laughing.

I was about to step back but the door creaked, and he saw me. I wanted to run away, but he gestured for me to look through the window with him.

I stood next to him though I had tears in my eyes.

The soccer group became more rambunctious and I saw my group walk out the school gates. I turned my head away. I couldn’t help but cry because I had really loved them.

“Weren’t you with them?”

“How’d you know?”

“You stuck out.”

“I did?”

“Yeah.”

I didn’t ask him why because he poked my cheek. “Eh, you didn’t need them anyway.”

I began to smile.

“That’s why you stuck out.”

I gave him a curious look.

“See, it’s all math.” He pushed his glasses up. “You'd divide a smile by a tear times fear equals mere truth. Did you get that?"

“So, experience is a frown divided by ideas times opportunities?”

“I just said that to make you laugh and you took me seriously!”

“Then in calculation, I think we should be friends.”

“I knew I liked you.” He winked at me. “You’re good.”

Smile because you've lived

Tear because you weren't yet ready to go

Fear because you see the gun

Truth is, you're about to die

And so the story goes.

Unless we actually have to use math?

The Love Equation

Love is a science, but love and math are more alike; work is necessary in order to prove one's answer correct.

Late nights, blood, sweat, tears and failure are all virtually inevitable, but if you can't find an answer after that, it may not be possible.

It could be empty-set.

In this case, move on;

now, the problem is not yours.

might math measure mind?

". . . you'd have to do math to divide a smile by a tear times fear equals mere truth. . ."

Provocative statement, for as math rules the numerical reality of say,

music producing emotion's flow, or human smile,

this mathematical principle, employed in the function

of smile's divisibility by tears

produces a quotient of innumerable possibilities:

we are given one smile, however tears' quantity we have not

such quantity varies immeasurably, given range of human subjects,

therefore, uncertainty principle herein applies,

whereby outcome is measurable on scale of wide possibilities

whether wryness, joyfulness, anger, ruefulness, ambivalence . . .

or mixture thereof,

unpredictability is expected given open variables

further, add to the complexity of equation,

factor of fear,

therefore: smile/ tear x fear = mere truth,

ignoring for a moment the imbalance of this equation

focus upon fear multiplied with the quotient of smile's division by tear,

we have the near impossible task of handling the algorithmic demands of an unquantifiable operation,

fear will bring the smile/tear quotient to it knees,

rendering its results to panic,

then chaos,

unless a restricting element be provided

preventing its reaching a state critical mass,

now let us address the imbalance of the equation,

if we regard truth as mere, we may assign it numerical value, 1

let us use, 10 to serve as absolute truth,

let us apply the equation to a life scenario:

divide a smile by a tear at a wedding

multiply by fear, perhaps a torn wedding dress

computed together, probably equals mere truth

extrapolated by thousands' years worth of recorded history

might yield absolute truth that:

torn wedding dresses create emotional distress equaling fear,

an aborted wedding causing a potential bride crying 96 tears,

encapsulated in a bottle,

inspiring a song,

recorded in time

and proclaimed a pop music hit

conclusion: math is not necessary to divide a smile by a tear times fear to equal mere truth,

mere truth is realized simply by living on earth in any scenario
