If a ufo crash landed by my home or in a small town, I'd go to where they're at and would try to ask the ufo occupants if they're alright. I'd be cautious of course! I'd also make sure someone was with me in case they're hostile and are dangerous.

If I find out they're hostile, then I'd just leave them. I would do nothing further. I wouldn't even call the police and would be sure that I was in my home safe with my door locked.

If I'd find out that the ufo inhabitants were benevolent, id be sure to make contact with them even more. I'd offer them to come into my home for water if they drink it and something to eat. I'd also offer to help them repair their ship and would even further try to get to know them.
