She walked home her steps light and mindful of any puddles.

Her mind was clear. Tomorrow it might not be.

But she knew that was okay, so she walked home and hugged her husband and kids.

She counted her blessings and praised the Lord, her God.

She knew these feelings wouldn't last.

Emotions were fickle, even when unforgettable.

She needed to remember them.

So... she wrote a story.
