It was a stolen day on a stolen trip to the coast. No one really knew where I was, and it was so liberating. Driving down south down the highway, the getting fleeting glimpses of the ocean between dense trees. The sky was bright March blue, and the sun was burning off the last of the morning's low clouds. It was a day of sunroofs, Beattles songs, and then that one panoramic view of the beach, and cliffs, and kites.
