Mother Dearest

Sing me a song, weathered old croon.

A balled as old and ancient as you.

Something with love, and mercy; dragon's galore!

Sing me a song like that tune.

Sing me a song beast of my dreams.

A lullaby to lull me to sleep.

I can't recall the words of it all,

But you're voice began to make it sound neat.

Sing me a song Mother dearest,

one where you never leave.

A balled or two, of a love so true.

Something that makes me believe.

I'll sing you a song Momma.

As you close your eyes for good.

It should sound familiar, it's okay if you don't remember,

I will, and that's all we should.

Now I sing to you Mommy,

I'll croon away in black.

How rude a young son to his mother.

One he shall not get back.

Writer’s Block

I set the tone, and at first it's loud

but then

the thunder slowly dies down.

So I erase,

and I restart.

I close my eyes and all is dark,

a masterpiece will start to spin;

unravel, spring forth...

And then,

It dies.

Shatters as I stare upon

a broken idea that now is gone,

And I am left with not but,

an empty sheet of paper;

distraught.

Luci

With a bit of wonder, and whimsy

he'll enchant you with his charms.

A single kiss will kill you,

a silent death alarms.

You'll never feel the same again,

he's like walking heroin.

A single drug you can't deny,

Luci is my lullaby.

Never can you ever, deny a man as he.

Luci is something more,

much more than just your dreams.

Poisoned touch will lure you in,

keep you deep enthralled in sin.

Luci doesn't need to be anything except for he,

You will do the rest you see,

Luci is your sin.

A Fall

I'm sinking.

The table is growing larger.

I'm falling.

Through the floor boards.

I can't breathe.

The heat begins to rise.

I'm landing.

The ground beneath me crackles.

I'm standing.

The devilish smile welcomes me.

I'm flying.

He gives me broken wings.

Midnight Kisses with a Murderer

It was dark, and she couldn't help herself.

He was dangerous, but it didn't matter.

She found lust in his eyes and loved the thrill.

His hands were painted red with iron, but she didn't care.

His lips were sweet, unlike his soul.

He was without peace and so was his mind.

She was an angel, fallen from Heaven.

She was his reason to actually care.

She made a mistake and waddled about.

He panicked and ran because this wasn't his call.

His hands were painted red, and she needed to care. And the scary things was:

She didn't.

They have a baby and he's on the ground.

They never stood a chance because he was stained.

Their child will grow up with questions unanswered.

Their child was a bastard with hands painted red.

Unanswered Questions

The stove, is it on? Is that door locked.

The windows keep rattling, the dogs just won't stop.

What was that thing that I said,

Years ago, with cheeks bright red and hate in my soul.

Where am I going, and who will I be?

What is the reason for stars and the sea?

Can I belong here? What is this life?

Why did I lose her at the end of a knife?

Secrets I've whispered at tender age of youth,

Haunt my soul with painstaking truth.

Black shadows will dance in my corners of my eyes,

While flashes of yellows on screens shortly die.

The visions I had when I was a boy,

are products of parents who thought of a toy.

A vision to create, as my eyes start to fall

into my wonderland, into my wall.

One that I made, many years ago

when sugar plum fairies made friends with the woe.

Finally I fall away from the quest,

away, away, into a sleepless rest.

Morningstars

Green apples, sour and cold

Knowledge filled, futures foretold.

As a plan for her and him,

Burn he shall, Lucifer's sin.

Wonder

To be honest, it never made much sense, but neither did I. Maybe that's why it works.

In The End

Guilt bleed into her heart as she stood on the polished wooden chair. All she had to do was jump, and she did.
