Colours

If you close your eyes you can see more clearly

The yellows are brighter

Ray's dancing on your skin

Pulls you head tall.

The smile is enviable.

Reds are deeper

Friendships irreplaceable

Love undeniable, invanquishable

Passion unapologetic

Blues softer

The lullaby pulls you under

The sea takes you away

The fall is boundless underneath the scattered spiteful heavens

Greens suddenly feel like pulses.

It is the beat of the world.

Every moment feel precious.

Life becomes more important than your troubles.

It becomes humbling in the scope of the emerald rock

Grey is still neutral

It is stone and guts

Its solemn, draining

The lift in your face is pulled away with each passing life you honour

Your shut eyes are all that is keeping the tears from pulling the rest through you

Brown is dirty and mucky

How could your adventures not play back through your body in recognition?

The grains of sand squishing in your toes

The spike up your whole leg when you put yourself deep into a carving arc in the snow

Your whole arm is part of a larger vibration clawing your way up the mountain

The even bigger high pulling your insignificance to the top of a very big world

Your enlightened vision falls into your eyelids

You can see only yourself now

Its black

Void, emptiness lays inside for you to craft and mold into whatever you can imagine

Black is space for creation

It is the dreams you see in the stars

And take your whole life to reach

It is also your solitude

It is the loneliness your life is spent running from

The truth you can't accept and therefore won't see

Your eyes are open now

You have seen the shades of your life

How deep you should strive for

The fears you have to face

And only at the end is there white

It is the colour of understanding

For only when you embrace all colours can you realize they are all one thing: purpose

Purpose and purity shine through each of us and scatter into rainbows we chase the rest of our lives until we reach enlightenment and stand tall in the dark void.

Big Shot, Small Thought

Have you ever bigged shot a morning?

Felt a swagger in step

A sing in the shower

The idea of the century...

If the century ended yesterday

But felt dam that idea?

Get a move on!

Big shot

Bring the day on!

All thought

This will be my day

Every sip of coffee is perfection

Roll out the awards for my man!

Like a coffee shop is elemental

I could save the day now

The day can unfreeze now

I am here to seize this splunder!

The universe follows!

Big shot

I have the audience!

All thought

The plates can swirl my head

It's a penny on the road!

Penny!

Now I can have my day

I am victorious

I have taken it all

No one can out bid my will

I will pass that test

Pass that goal

That impossibility

Right!

It will all fall away with my size

Today is my prize

I am wrong!

He thought, not got

Good thing I'm right

All shot, he not

I am practically an engineer!

Then my midterm dropped

Or my coffee worked out

And it all came crumbling down

The power of thought

The happiness of anew go the best of me

It goes to show that feeling the greatness and striking down the day take nothing but the will to be great

Be the big shot with small thought

The joy is always inside

Unit

Happiness is the smallest unit of life

Without happiness, what is it all for.

Smallest.

Happiness isn't money

It isn't even family

The more complex life shapes up to be

The more confusing it becomes

Complexity and fear is unhappiness

They are the scar tissue that holds together the pieces of fragile happiness.

A family is good, strong module to life, but the definition of such a large idea is twisted with expectations

Happiness is never expected

It is shared, earned, and often forgotten

It is invisible until your eyes close

It is a breath with freesh air

A hug from a human

A giggle of a child

Happiness is seeing all and thinking none

Enjoying a parent's support, seeing their connection to you, without ever looking at where the threads begin or end

A moment is the closest thing to a unit of happiness.

It is worthless to the second

Too infinite for a life

But just finite enough to tie yourself to reality.

Black Hole

Black holes are inescapable

A contrasting darkness in the black space

The surroundings might be verging nothing

But the wraith embodies nothing with such density

That weighable void frightens something

It auras light like a shroud at a glance

But in expectance that it too is nothing

Once compared to the hope consumed

Screams of deafening silence

Flashes of blinding, blocking, mass

That all we know exists

Empty, alone, in space

Mirror

Mirror me

It makes my moves

But it’s distant

Unfamiliar to both eyes open

I pull at the edges trying to rip shards off of the identity I face

Frustrated that the mirror know more

That aches my reflections

Pounding too hard shatters chances of my desperate childish complaints of lost

Each shard gives a clue

Makes me clueless how every edge disputes the next

Holes and overlaps lay in my sandbox

Standing digs in glass and staying mocks me

Pendulum swings the eternity of the journey for the dog to sit and wait

For a simple explanation of why and me

That I can’t be one with me

I’m depressed to be alone

But socialize unpopularity

I think big

But do small

I think deep

But talk small quiet insignificance

I hear

But not heard in this big world

Where the workings are small

Yet never decidable

Brave World, Cowardly Voices

A teacher told me that the world is changing

That feelings can be suppressed

Held back with instantaneous gratification

The term old timers refer to a gaming device

Think free

Reflect often he suggests

The system is cannibalistic

Every shadow of truth is manufactured

Sold to convince us of another

Our soul is our acts of chaos.

Endless following is stable and inhuman

Find a reason for purpose that is of your own manipulation

Control your perception of the shadows to fit in your pour of chaos

Jet emotion for the satisfaction of human outbreak.

Individuality is our weakness to fight and our strength to lose.

Is it yourself to consume the riptide of monotonous fitting

Or be bold and flashy in risky screams of passion for a path that all finds crazy.

Tear Drop

Rolling hot tear

Your streak leaves me uncomfortable

I blink and yawn to stretch my eyelids

To rid myself of the salty trail

Uncomfortable with death, with pain

Feeling sorry myself for pity is my problems

Tears drip for movies that hit to close to home

They form from the thought that live isn't priceless

But rather worth as much as people offer smiles

Or as little as hate gestures

A drop flooding memories of all that I know is great

Tears are warm and full of emotion for when there is too much or rather deserted feelings

They are the pride to what I have

And an apology for my frequent misuse of circumstance

The hate I myself spread or take advantage of

Sometimes those tears are my purest self

That flow away as fast as they come

Because after it all drys up, I complain about my uncomfortable salty eyes

A Child’s Glasses

Childism shelters me

From brutal punches

Consequences of my inexperience

Easy is it, to slide behind knights

Teachers and parents hold soft smiles

I'm safe here, I entice to myself

Welcoming failure as a old friend

Yet fear lives close by

Crouching in the shadows

Waiting until society decides

Child, is no longer my excuse

When the wind frosts ears numb

From the toque I should've worn

When society displays rebels

I feel the offset from the norm

What am I when my actions

Aren't of a child

But the irresponsibility of a citizen

The spoken of foreign world

Fearing the inevitable boot in

Blueworld in Poetry & Free Verse

Society Sells Unhappiness

Society sells dreams

If it's a profiting company

Or social cliques

We are told who we are

What we should elevate to be

Even if the idea is impossible

Even though the effort

Is degrading, unhappy

Resulting in depression and little satisfaction

And never was going to make you happy

But we all fall in line to fit into the 'idea'

I'm trying to find myself

Block out what society whispers

Clue in to my own thoughts

Filter my perception

Because I want to be positive

And truly happy with the truth

Simply understand the truth

Know it

But I follow the line set in words

Perfection

Perfect world

Your hiding from me

Where do you sleep in a place like this?

People grow into morality

Aging ideas but unchanged at heart

Young in my search

I believed suicide was impossible

Now I understand that I'm lucky to see beauty

The perfect world can be easily a dream,

As it can be a treasure

I'm glad to still see green grass

Because the perfect world is more plastic

Than I once thought

Perfect family

Where have you gone?

I left with a red rose

And came back with it weltering

It's not ruined, nor broken

But unimaginable imperfect

Yet in time I have learnt it to be ordinary

I have weathered petals

Like they all have their fallen leaves

There's beauty in the autumn colours

Perfect is the skill of misperception

Happiness is selecting the best to see

I see more clearly now

I wish I was blinder
