Mirror

Mirror me

It makes my moves

But it’s distant

Unfamiliar to both eyes open

I pull at the edges trying to rip shards off of the identity I face

Frustrated that the mirror know more

That aches my reflections

Pounding too hard shatters chances of my desperate childish complaints of lost

Each shard gives a clue

Makes me clueless how every edge disputes the next

Holes and overlaps lay in my sandbox

Standing digs in glass and staying mocks me

Pendulum swings the eternity of the journey for the dog to sit and wait

For a simple explanation of why and me

That I can’t be one with me

I’m depressed to be alone

But socialize unpopularity

I think big

But do small

I think deep

But talk small quiet insignificance

I hear

But not heard in this big world

Where the workings are small

Yet never decidable
