Failure means not trying hard enough, not reaching where you want to be, not being the person you hoped you could- or should- be. Failure is falling asleep during the test you stayed up all night for. Failure is when your mother looks at you with disappointment and tells you that you could be doing so much better. Failure is the next 3 am morning when you take out that knife and begin drawing on your arm once more.

Failure is the pain you feel, the pain I feel, and the thing that I fear most.
