Summer Past
Wet grass, country dew; chicken coop poop; bovine manure; squealing swine behind a barbed wire fence; hooved feet trolloping on an unpaved dirt path, assailed my senses.
The sounds and smells of my aunt's old farm combined at once. Flooding back were memories of that summer the citified girl came south.
