I am immortal. Many people would see it as a blessing to be able to live forever but I see it as a curse. Everyone around me ages and has a beautiful life while I sit still the same age I was five hundred years ago. Why would I bother to make friends if their lives feel like a few minutes compared to mine. Whole societies and ideas of culture die as I'm left standing. This is what I ponder everyday of my never-ending life.
