The story started as strangers,

"Wish we were friends " I thought,

Then came in the formalities,

"Wish we could talk late" I thought,

Then we were already friends,

"Wish we could be more" I thought,

Then we were best friends,

"Wish we go beyond it" I thought,

Then today we are more than anything,

"Wish were we did we start" I think.

Deep silences is everyone's part,

Realising destiny dies each heart,

This is the thing about pain,

You never take it; still you gain,

Smile whole day in front of others,

Sobbing in the dark as it bothers,

This is the rule; with life comes death,

But make it count till the last breath.

Go beyond my tongue,

Taste my unsaid words,

Explore each nook,

Test my intentions,

Hold me around your arms,

Show me the undying beauty,

Because I want to live and die,

In this small universe of ours.

It shrunk in size.

But increased its intensity,

It went so distant,

But just to come more closer,

It cried while leaving,

But rejoiced when we met,

It may be miles apart,

But we live in each others heart

Love is happy, but,

Distances are sad

Love is long lasting, but,

Life lasts short,

Love is immortal, but,

We are mortals,

Love is you & me, but,

Me is what made of you.
