Driving me:

Hope and fear, equally mixed. Fear of failure, fear I'll never amount to anything, fear I will fail at my passions and have nothing to fall back on. Yet fear pushes me to be better. Because if I'm better, then that fear can't come true, right?

But hope encourages me. It whispers softly, "You can succeed" and I desperately long for that to be true. And, with hope and fear pushing me on, I cannot help but be driven.
