Chapter-xxiii: Swayamvar to be held soon

Janaka after seeing what Seetha did decided to leave her future to the Shiv Dhanush.

Seetha was trained to cook and many other moral ideas were taught to her. She and her susters were getting refined in the Mythilapuri palace.

On the other hand the princes of Ayodhya had worn janeu and went to Rishi Vashishta's gurukul for their Brahmacharya, a stage where early education is given between 7 to 14 years of age. After they returned Rishi Vishwamitra took Lord Rama and Lakshman to guard his yagnya, from there they travelled to many other places. First they went to Rishi Gauthama's ashram where Lord Ram coincidentally rested his feet on a rock, but then the rock turned into bright woman revealing that it was Rishipatni Ahilya.

She was cursed by her husband Rishi Gautham, due to Indra's illusion. Then they met a weak young man trying to commit suicide as he didn't had the strength to complete the challenge a girl gave him to marry her. Hearing his reason for committing suicide the Rishi gave him the power he needed. But they were shocked to see the same man sitting in the position of Indra's son Jayant to participate in the swayamvar Rishi Vishwamitra wanted Lord Ram to participate.
