Empathy Tears

Sympathy bleeds amongst these tears

the pain you feel from all your years

raw and true, real and free

has also become apart of me.

This empathy's hard to say the least

empty and hollowed, it's suicide's beast

agonizing torment ringing there

it is almost to much to bare

Fighting to take these tears away

you let me know that you're ok

helpless and useless is where I am

sending a text to show I care

I'm sorry you need endure the pain

I'm sorry if life always seems the same

I'm sorry you feel you disappointed your friends

I'm sorry you feel this drain never ends

I can assure you that you are not alone

I'll cry and I'll bleed right to the bone

I see you for what you truly are

You are my shining star

My life's been dark

believe me it's true

and through all this darkness

all I see is you

Please keep walking your straight line

you will see that it takes time

to find the peace you do seek
