Deaths’s quick visit (a true and personal story)

My lips were parched.

My eyes were sunken in,

they were hiding from my pale deserted face.

Each breath was a painful sacrifice

that my lungs no longer wants  to participate in.

My heartbeats were sprinting so hard and fast.

The nurses were testing my fingers for oxygen.

but they were so cold and stiff,  none of them wanted to communicate

Awoken by a miracle and heard the  nurse said

'' is she  dead?"

Slowly making my way to consciousness,

I looked at death and said

"I see you come to visit me, but I  won't let you in. "
