Marble Halls

I dwelt in white marble halls…

I remember how beautiful it was there.

I remember having all the love and admiration from family and friends.

All my days were happy and bright…

Until I slipped…

I fell like a lightning bolt from heaven.

Into darkness and misery I was plunged.

My sin forever marked me

forever stealing me from the love I cherished condemning me to this

torturous world.

Condemning me to walk in this prison suit of human flesh that ages and dies.

Never to walk again in

those marble halls.
