Breath of God

How I long for the smell of sweat and leather, of hoof and horn and hot weather.

Oh how I'd love to hear again the sounds of snorting and running thunder, the kind that sets my heart all a flutter.

To hear and feel once again the one thing in this world I ever loved more than life itself, for it is

the very breath of God.
