Now I pray, every single day

I never prayed or said I would be gracious

I'm good on my own, God isn't gracious

My life was a mess and I found a focus

Struggling in class God told me "FOCUS."

I didn't want to believe, tried to fight

God saw me battling, he said "look for light"

I cried for days, not understanding this life

Then God came to my shoulder that very night

I swear he was there right next to me

Telling me to keep going, "I am your key"

But I'm alone in this world, what's going on?

He was right in my ear, telling me to keep on

Life doesn't have to be something you dread

If you don't listen to me, it's all in YOUR head

I'm here to listen and here to reply

You are my child and I love you, you can fly

Use the wings I provide to overcome

I'm not here for looks, you don't need the rum

Trust in me fully and you will fulfill

My plan for you dear; your dream I can hear

Let's do this together, the best team around

If I got God on my side, I've already been found.
