In that Moment

You know that moment when it all finally sinks in. It's like a kick in the gut. Truly knowing deep within the secrets of your heart that it's over. Then realizing your the cause of it all. But, how can you be when no answer as to why this happened is given? Somehow he maneuvers you into thinking it was all your actions that led us here, and he owes you nothing. It's in this moment when you realize you have to stop fighting for something that is now lost in a sea of once was. A pain that drives deep into our insecurities. Where nothing else seems to matter. You look up and its as if time has stopped. When does it reset and carry on, or will it ever? It's in that moment where you must make a choice. To either rise above the despair that has encumbered itself upon you. Or to give in and linger on in a silent graveyard filled with past woes.
