Just a chance

What she longs for is a second chance

A gamble for this whirlwind romance

Hoping everything was just a trance

Would the possibilities enhance?

Hoping everything would be alright

It's not certain if things would turn bright

Chances may cause torment or delight

She'll take her chances with all her might

In the past, she asked for forgiveness

The one from above is her witness

The dolour that she tried to suppress

She stopped and moved on from that madness

Years passed by and there's no betterment

A twinge was left by the arguement

There she is standing on the cement

While you're having a time that's well spent

Can't you see that she's falling apart?

It was caused by someones wretched heart

She desires everything to restart

She doesn't want to see you depart

She hinders herself from perdition

Her mind repeats that same old portion

Still stuck in that same old location

Wherein you've had your confrontation

But the world is inexorable

In this world we are vulnerable

Agonies are inevitable

The journey sure is memorable

All she wants is an absolution

All the problems have a solution

Please try to understand her reason

Just go hear out her explanation

What she longs for is a second chance

A hap for that last eventual dance

A moment for that one final glance

Asking destiny for alliance
