Thank You, Love
I know Valentine's Day is over, but do we really need a designated day to express what we feel? Write a letter, poem, whatever you want to a future lover or your current partner, whoever you want in a romantic setting. Free for all. I suggest a message of positivity/gratitude, but you can take it wherever the prompt takes you :) Tag me in a comment (not the work cause I won't see it) if you want me to read and comment @tornesornerob

Red of dawn

I'll build a bed of roses for you

The walls made of shining paper

The room has got a golden floor

And the rainbow ends right here

All windows are showing the south

A view on the glimmering sea

Every day I'm evening the waves

Diving behind drowned dreams

Changing desperation for mother-of-pearl

I will laugh and cry about you

I've always got a winning trump

I will promise you love

When the water goes to your neck

In shattered times I will unfold a net

Standing up in the storm until the wind turns

All wishes are directly fulfilled

Or even before, if you wish

I'm there for you day and night

I don't say anything and I'm holding still

The grey everyday I will throw into the canalisation

I will suffocate doubts in their birth

Star coins should rain down for you

And you can be more vain than the sunshine

I'll let the air flicker for you

Build dream castles into the red of dawn

Bad ghosts are mixed up

I will promise you love

When the water goes to your neck

In shattered times I will unfold a net

Standing up in the storm until the wind turns

Only good humour is allowed

Bad humour is immediately dishonoured

Heartache is fed to the peace doves

Problems are brushed under the flying carpet

I'll lie the blue of the sky for you

I'll talk any tragedy nice for you

I'll chase away all your worries

Sadness is brought to justice

Watch out that signs are showing you good

In shattered times I will unfold a net

Standing up in the storm until the wind turns
