In light of death
The light says youre safe
The dark draws you in
The light shines on your face
The dark shows you your sins
The light is white
And has no spite
The dark has smog-blackened skin
The light isn't right
The dark has no spark
Mutes the voice of the lark
While the light makes angels sing
