My words lie,

isn't that the point?

A story that never happened,

a feeling never fought or felt.

And then there are times when 

the words don't speak.

We have so many words for happiness

but none to describe what it feels like

when trauma and tragedy

take the very last bits of you

and leave you as broken glass on the floor.

My words lie,

but more importantly,

truth or false,

my words are never enough.
