They defined beauty as being yellow

They defined beauty as being skinny /slim

They defined beauty as having a weave on

They defined beauty as wearing expensive clothes

What manner of society is this

Are they even sure that this is beauty

We have our soul sisters with black skins

Big boned sisters

Coarse hair sisters

Sisters wearing African clothes

Are they not beautiful?

But hold up let me tell you what beauty is

Beauty is an imperfect soul striving for perfection

Beauty is the love from within

Beauty is the one who carried extra weight in her stomach for nine months

Beauty is the one who wakes up every cold and hot morning goes to work just to feed her family

Beauty is always defined in beings but is truly not in beings only

But can also be found in beings doings

I saw beauty from her mothers hardships and her fathers sufferings

Striving for her education

Beauty is the brain that has knowledge so to make her beautiful they never bought her make up,weave nor expensive clothes
