Sinking

How many more times will it take? How many more demons will I create? When will this journey take me back home? How could this have gone so wrong? “stay strong". They say, "never give up" they rave. "All for one, and one for all”. Well look at me now! I listened, and now I have nothing at all. I sacrificed my everything for that one. Put that on my son. Nothing but the weak beat of a broken heart remains, and now itʼs clear. The love I long for is no where near.
