She walked into the sea

for what she was she could not be

to wipe away all that she had

of her life that made her sad

a new beginning, a new way

to live with love day by day.

I wish my childhood imagination wasn't all but imagination.

Why couldn't life be full of fairies, mermaids, and elves?

Why must life be full of evil witches, trolls, and monsters?

Why can't we have 3 magical wishes, singing animals waiting for you outside your door, love at first sight, a happily ever after?

We just have wishes that will never come true and every day struggles to just get by, hoping our "true love" will appear any minute.

Counting the days for a fairytale to happen.

I was hoping you would say you wanted me to stay.

I was hoping you were going to tell me you would go.

I was going either way and I’m glad I did.

I didn’t expect you to say anything.

But the moment you asked me, “If you stayed.. would you stay here?”, it stuck with me ever since.
