Our differences were gone.

"He asked how you are doing."

I closed my eyes

and all I could see was your face,

right in front of me.

Our differences were gone,

our worlds didn't collide anymore.

You took my hand

and we ran on the sand,

towards the waves.

The sun was shining a bit brighter,

while waves surrounded our bodies,

you grabbed my waist

and held me a bit tighter.

I could feel your fingertips on my skin,

while your calm voice whispered in my ear:

"I still love you

and that will never change."

Crash landing.

We took off quite quickly,

flew through the clouds in the sky,

knowing that we had this chance to crash,

but hope, that we would survive.

Eventually, turbulence got the best of us.

There was nothing left to discuss.

Ocean of tears

Ocean of tears.

Love is to blame.

Whenever I see you

or hear your name.

I’m still falling for you.

I thought I made room,

I thought I made room in my heart.

But seeing you with her,

makes me realise what I fear the most,

I'm still falling for you,

while you're still falling for her.

You will know.

He asked her: "Is it possible to have multiple soulmates?".

She was surprised by his question, as she looked at him with her big brown eyes.

She had wondered that herself. She had met people that felt like home, felt like she belonged with them, and they belonged to her. But with non of them, she had felt the same connection as with him. She thought that often soulmates were confused with people we love, but they can be anyone and everything we never even thought of.

She answered him with: "I think there's only one soulmate who is meant to be. Lovers, the best friends and family may feel like home, but when you meet your soulmate, you will know".

Would she be able to resist?

He was sitting on his bed,

looking at her

with these big ocean eyes.

The sun started setting,

it was time to say their goodbyes.

So she sat down on his lap

and kissed him softly on his lips.

She could feel his fingertips

tingling on her skin,

he pulled her face closer,

he pulled her back in.

He started kissing her

passionately,

and at that moment

she felt closer to him

than she had ever been.

Their last kiss felt like a first kiss.

If they were ever to meet again,

would she think about everything

she had missed?

Would she kiss his lips

or would she be able to resist?

City noises going silent.

The lights of fire trucks and ambulances

flashed by in that old city street. He didn't have curtains,

but the classy windows were half-covered by some white sheets.

She wasn't used to city noises as a small-town girl, so she couldn't sleep.

She turned around to look at him,

the light of the moon hit his face softly,

surrounding his cheekbones,

and then she realised: "I'm already in this too deep".

The surrounding noise finally faded away

as she fell asleep.
