Prose

Passion from those who can express their feelings verbally

Rampaging of conflicted souls

Opening of hearts

Someone's inner feelings

Expression at it's best

A Father

a father

in and out

out and in

they never stay

they go away

and don't question as to if you're okay

All in all

I rather celebrate mother's day

PYT

She's young like a berry

She's fit

Ready to be picked

Ready to be plucked

I bet she's sweet

They don't like overripe berries

Or green of underdevelopment

she's just right

I guess it's time

To let her go

She's itching to see the world

It's hard though

Still so young

My very favorite girl

Young thing

Dumb thing

Don't come home with a broken heart

Challenge
Depression. What is it? How does it feel? What's it like? Can you define it anyway that makes sense? No word limit, poetry preferred. I am missing so many of these! Please tag me, RowRow1990

Depression is Grey

Depression is grey

Like the sky

in a storm

Depression is grey

Like hurt

Depression in deceptive

Like a con man

Depression is hard

Like work

Depression is long

like the world's stretchiest taffy

Depression is dark

Like night

Depression is the worst

because there's no cut and dry

Depression has no black or white

She Want’s to be

She wants to be happy

She wants to smile

She wants to be the girl in the {blank] dress

But happiness doesn't last

for more than a little while

And with life comes stress

She wants to be the girl in the {blank} dress

who's happy all the time

She want's to be the girl in the {blank} dress

she wants the life that's mine

My closet is full of {blank} dresses

And i know she want's to be me

She could never wear {blank} dresses

She could never rock {blank} dresses not like me most certainly

You'll giver her an inch and she'll go a  mile

But wearing my {blank} dress wont give her a smile

She wants to be the girl in the {blank} dress

And to do so she might just kill a fellow

She wants to be the girl in the blank dress

She want's to be the girl in {blank}

Don’t lean on me

Don't lean on me

Said the tree

I'm week you see

said the tree

And why is that

Said I

to his reply

For soon i will die

You see my branches they are thin

And i am growing weary from within

My leaves are flimsy, and they will break

There's only so much a tree like me can take

When he said this, i could relate

for I too was in a weak state

You are stronger than me

Said the tree

There's so much you could be

said the tree

Don't make the mistake that i have all my days

Don't be a slave to your kind ways

so I replied

"how do i do that"

And he said

"don't let others stab you in the back"
