I love adventuring, eating guacamole, and attempting to inspire others through writing (occasionally all at the same time).

Regret Simplified

Of all the things I could regret,

and I can count a few,

there is something I don't regret,

and that

of course

is you.

Happy Independence Hour

Independence is the Long island of cocktails. While human rights is your basic vodka soda, security is your comforting whiskey, and freedom is your top shelf martini, independence beckons upon many elements and beautifully blends them all together. Just like a Long Island, there are some key elements that must go into your cup of independence, but depending on the person, each individual glass may hold something a little different. Long Islands you order at an American bar will taste different than that from an Irish pub and that will be different from a Long Island served at a club in Rio. Just like each bar has a slight variation on the classic, each person has a variation on the way they interpret, strive for, and access independence. What makes a Long Island unique from other drinks is its ability to intoxicate without much notice. Delightful in taste, independence also slyly intoxicates and addicts its partakers. Whether you are an on the rocks, straight up, shaken, or stirred kinda person, it's 5 o’clock somewhere and I suggest you order the Long Island.

What happens when you put a dish best served cold in an oven?

You could never tell; that romance of theirs was revenge.
