They’re Leafing

Whisked in drafts of moonlit mist,

Leaflets drift and lift in splendor

As the bed of tender

Blades sway in incandescent haze, kissed

By blushing rays bathing their promenade.

princess cut

porcelain mannequin swathed in

a ream of silk

kissed in an amethyst mist,

dipped in moonlight's milk,

pearls hug her wrist--

there it sits,

little vein where all the pain

hits

from the

gold-plated

switchblade,

shiny with her palm's sweat

tucked in a cashmere blanket.

not a princess is she,

but a pitiful wench

who cuts the sleeves of her dress

until her sheets, with red, drench

what a  m  e   s  s.

where does sorrow hide?

where in paradise does it reside?

rubies spill out her skin;

diamonds from her eyes!

how dare she lay in vain

and feign disdain

over a champagne migraine;

how can she not get it through her

pretty

little

brain

that she has everything and more,

ungrateful whore.

with no use of her mind

and no purpose to find

surely even the princess

will embrace

emptiness.

Write me an unbelievably sexy micropoem, please, on one of these decidedly un-sexy topics: laundry, taxes, the dentist, infomercials or bodily functions. TAG ME!

Fill my Cavity of Desire

choke me

with the paper bib.

tasting gloved fingers,

lustful scent of blood lingers

when the scalpel penetrates my gum,

baby, you know you make me numb

jaw gone slack with one injection

of your

anesthetic

antiseptic

minty fresh

affection.

Languish (a pantoum)

A fond gaze pierces through her blatant lies,

She’ll never blend with the other faces,

For her desperation has been gracious,

A relation the strain of time defies.

She’ll never blend with the other faces,

The brief glimpse of trust she feigned, I despise,

Their honesty has cowered in disguise,

For her desperation has been gracious.

The brief glimpse of trust she feigned, I despise,

Mirth keeping us shackled, she erases,

Space I stole in her heart, she replaces

Their honesty has cowered in disguise.

Mirth keeping us shackled, she erases,

We pitifully clutch our withered ties,

For I’ll never move past her, I surmise,

Space I stole in her heart, she replaces.

Shot

Nuzzled in a pulsing crevice

Is a silver capsule lost in

Moist--

Bleary silence hummed,

and upon the nervous twitch of her thumb,

Screamed deafeningly.

Trickling maroon

Fjord in her chest overflows,

Besting the vermillion moon;

Fingers unfurl amidst balmy lull,

Peeling lips agape as she lay

Poised--

Silent hymn murmured,

and upon the gentle flutter of lids,

Bleated vehemently.

Crimson river

Creeps up her throat,

Sloshing with a quiver;

Choking on a garbled farewell

Before her last breath was

Voiced--.
