all pastel purple and all rot

all my crush doesn't love me back

this sugar cloud won't call me ugly

the words come like kisses

short and quick and easy

yes,

fresh mango juice kisses dripping down my chin

i am all ravish, all hungry

all one big open mouth of yellow sticky

it’s sunny, go for a walk.

brew butternut squash elixir, bright yellow,

and lift it to your bruised lips

wipe away the bags under your eyes with fresh aloe vera

brush your finger pads over the poetry of wise women

listen to the words of wiser women

hug yourself with tight circles of lotion on your tired skin

write his name down and burn the paper

throw the ashes in a river,

a glassy forever river

ripples eternal and concentric and suddenly
