Corrupt Savior

I saved everyone, sure.

I rescued the human race.

No, the screams are saying I didn't.

But I am praised as a savior, as a hero.

The disease called human.

It is erased from this world.

No more evil present to destroy.

The deed is done, no matter how painful it was.

Looking back at my love.

I grin, knowing what was done.

Throwing the match back, burning the dead.

I walk through town, smelling the sweet scent of burnt flesh.

Why am I so happy?

Maybe because Earth is cleansed.

I have murdered an entire race.

They trusted a false god, truly corrupt savior.

First Kiss

I see your red smile

Showing your white teeth;

I stare at you for a while

As you hang the Christmas wreath.

You turn to me

And I look away;

I turn back to see

You walking to say hey.

She points up to the sky;

I look up and see mistletoe.

She grabs my collar with a sigh

As we kiss standing below.

We exit our lips' embrace

With warm flushed cheeks;

I marry her bright face,

Living together for infinite weeks.

Quiet Winter

The ground is smeared red

The white snow is made impure

Lifeless blue eyes stare

Open Book

People look into my eyes

Already knowing who I am

And of what I have done.

They see one who lies and cries

Over a bloody, lifeless lamb

That was killed by a gun.

I am scared of what onlookers see;

Scared of why they would hate

Someone who is so kind and caring.

Realization comes over me;

Darkness fills my mind scape

Adding to my heart that is tearing.

Sovereignty of Freedom

A creature strives to live, to prosper. It has to depend on its surrounding to obtain life. Sometimes it has to fight for what it needs; other times it is given grace. As known by all creatures, one is easily defeated if it is alone. But if the organism is united, if it surrounds itself with others, both from same and different races of life, it will become a fortress, fighting and defending for one cause that they all believe in. Oppression does not tame a beast; it makes it hungry for the dream of freedom. It will break free from the bondage of the oppressor and gain its independence, its right to live its life however he or she wants it. The morality inside of both you and us are the same: We want our kind to live. What one describes as itself is what one portrays to the universe. We portray sovereignty in our freedom.
