I'm the same as ever

I can't tell if it's a good or bad thing

It goes both ways

But it just feels lonely

Window above my head

In view, and out of view

Would I peer at something beautiful?

A shower of sparks and lights?

Or the ruins of a man uncertain?

Through pump and pull serve till death

Sometimes I forget how bright the sun truly is

In a classroom's echoes, My mind burns

Eyes strained, Ears perked

I offer my attention to your droning

Focus fighting and struggling

Until a dull light shines inside
