and suddenly you've caught me in your web again

and i can't tell if you're gonna take my soul for a second time

sometimes winter hits in the middle of fall

the frost on the grass in the early morning chills the bones and bites the heart

but occasionally, the rebirth of spring comes and visits

and i can feel your heartbeat once again.

we broke up.

your fingers left bruises on my hip when you let my lips touch yours. i still feel the ghost of your lips against the back of my neck, the way you'd drag the bottom one over my skin.

you kissed me with closed eyes and open arms. i only feel the colors between us, no space.

i want to drape my arms over your shoulders and taste the galaxies hidden on your tongue.

you grip my hips and suddenly i'm seeing my eyelids and feeling your lips move so gently against mine. every time we do this it's different; i don't know what you'll do, you're unpredictable. you slide your hand under my jumper and it immediately gives me chills; your fingers are so cold against my body heat. your hands are so soft, and i giggle against your lips when you tickle me. love me.

your face isn't even a foot away from mine, but neither of us lean in. the tension is so apparent to the both of us and we want it to be broken so badly. i want you all at once and every bit of you.
