It will never stop playing
The sounds of lonely nights, the sounds of patience. This is all I ask. I have lived and hurt, I have heard the sounds of heartache. I have cried and learned the melody of bones shattering, of ribs whispering pain while they turn to pieces because a heart exploded.
The sounds of sunny afternoons and the music of nostalgy. This is all I have ever craved. Those ballads sang by children in the backyard and lost in the wind.
Those sounds are all I know. That is the music of my soul, and it will never stop playing.
