Young in the Mountains

"Why lamb cry?"

"How hen die?"

"Who sad?"

"You?"

"Be glad now."

"See me?"

"I am."

Challenge
Write a short love poem. The catch is that the first sentence must have seven words, and the following sentences should countdown until you have only one word for the last sentence. Basically 7 words, then 6, then 5, etc.
Love comes in numbers.

Love to Marne

I remembered something when I saw you--

A time I wanted to forget;

Because I left something hidden,

I thought in Paris.

My memories resurface,

Oh please--

forgiveness!

Challenge
What's one thing you can say to correct someone that believes the earth is flat?
Let's be real here. The whole concept that the Earth is flat is utter bullshit, and people who actually believe this are idiots. We need to do some serious re-education in this country. Stand up and defend the truth!

♭

No I am not kidding you, I too believe the world is quite flat. I think that maybe it was once round, but has since been ironed out.

No one sings on the right key, and our voices are left without harmony, each fighting to be heard above the other. Never has a chorus been so disconnected, but I blame our conductor. We lack passion and excitement because no one is there to give it to us. Desensitization has not helped our pitch either-- we speak of horrors in the world in monotones, the same tone we use when speaking of the weather. So yes, our world is flat, but that is only because of the people who live on this swirling sphere.
