When we have no one to listen to,

or no one to hear.

No one to laugh with,

or no one to talk with.

No one to hang out with, on a Friday night,

no one to go to the movies with.

We might just realize how alone we are.

Leaves rappidly tumbling,

while the trees slowly go bare.

Everyone's wearing sweatshirts,

because the weather is to appropriate not to.

But little does everyone know,

that autumn turns to winter.

Monday, a dreaded, boring gray day, after a short, happy weekend, which ended too quickly.

Tuesday, just a unframiliar day, who no one really pays attention to, anyways.

Wednesday, the middle of the week, who reminds me of blue, oh, and today, it's halloween, too.

Thursday, a day of impatience, as tomorrow is friday. He seems like fall, and books are great on this day.

Friday, no one pays attention in class, as they watch the clock turn two thirty-eight waiting for the dismissal bell to ring.

Saturday, a lazy day, of sweats all day and video games obviously.

Sunday, a peaceful day, though everyone dreads Monday.

Sitting on the grass, with my best friend by my side -

on a hill, towering over the tumble of twisted trees below.

We watched the sunset, the blue in the sky disappearing to create splotches of

deep purple, black, and navy blue.

The stars started popping up, and the grass turned wet around us.

Pumpkins lining doorsteps and porches.

The sun setting, but everyone is still wide awake.

handing out candy,

or collecting it themsleves.

calm sounds like soft, aesthetically pleasing music filling your head with sound.

it smells like pumpkin spice candles, filling a room with a potent scent.

it tastes like hot cocoa just the right temperature to drink.

it looks like youtube videos, and bunches of fluffy blankets on an early weekend morning.

calm feels like the wind brushing your face, on a peaceful autumn walk, watching the leaves fall to the grass.

The mud and leaves, squashed beneath our feet,

as we walked to our destined location.

The water quietly rushed downstream, while

twisted trees stayed high above our heads.

Crisp brown, orange, and yellow leaves tumbled to the water's surface, assuring that autumn is here.

The water rippled from the gentle touch of the wind, creating a peaceful place.
