for such a long while

my time has passed on

for miles and miles

my breath is weary

coughing, stuttering, and cold sweats

i've been running away from this site

we were making art on a blank canvas

our bodies flowing together in perfect harmony

it was pure ecstasy, the colours painting the white

abstract lines writing a story of you and me

grandiose and graphic

natural and pure

it was only us and our bodies with a bit of paint

the flowers are oh so delicate

much like your state

like a touch on a dandelion

will break off and flake

flowing softly, getting lost in the wind

your mind is going places, not staying pinned

sometimes they’re dark

four walls of sadness

they surround you with taunts

a house full of madness

sometimes they’re calm

like breathing in fresh grass

you make these thoughts last

and you stay in the past
