My teacher told me a story about the philosopher Diogenes.

Diogenes slept in a wooden barrel, yet people came to see him because of his wise words. Alexander the Great came to see him and asked the barrel man if he needed anything. Diogenes said, "could you step aside, you're blocking the sun."
