Red Room
After the court case was settled, she had nothing left. The man that supposedly loved her took everything that they once shared. Her house. Her money. Her child. Everything was gone. She plummetted down 10 flights of stairs.
She never had a job, he made all the money for the house. It was a big house that they lived in. And she had a Happy life. She hung out with her friends all the time. Her main commitment was getting her child back and forth from sports practice, music lessons, and school. But now she has nothing. Everything that she once held dear is gone.
Now she lives in a box in the alley behind and apartment building that houses all of her illegal customers.
She never pictured herself wishing she could afford her own red room.

Unaware of all
That’s happening.
Wishing I could
