"People are capable, at any time in their lives, of doing what they dream of."
Is this quote from The Alchemist realistic or does it apply to only certain people? Create a Poem or Prose that meets three requirements: 1, includes this exact quote, "...people are capable, at any time in their lives, of doing what they dream of." 2. includes high stakes of either following through with the dream or not following through 3. written in third person POV Good luck! Don't forget to tag me in the comments.

Something there is in beauty

“People are capable, at any time of their lives, of doing what they dream of.” Kim heard the phrase in her head, but she didn’t know the source. It hounded her dim lit days and tear stained nights. Could she really change, become something more?

She held the flower of a dream in her left hand. Kim studied it endlessly when no one watched. She thought maybe it held the answer to her dilemma. She memorized the beauty in the shape of the petals. She wondered could she be that real, that alive.

One day she couldn’t find that flower. Had she just lost it or was it taken from her? What was she to do now? Now her days also filled her eyes with tears. The others looked at Kim like she was broken, they smiled.

Kim could barely move now, her thoughts of loss like the bars of a cell. Her eyes dimmed, her voice but a whisper. She had it in her to be that flower, but now she was like everyone else. So gray, so cold...
