The Bright Side

Life is filled with suffering

We have to accept death

We have to deal with loss

We have to let go of those we love

We cannot hold on

Forever

But in all this sorrow,

Many find hope

In the promise

That there is someone out there

Who will relieve them from the pain

Who will pick them up

And show them

That even in all this suffering,

Life is always worth living

~Invisible~Kingdom~

Welcome! To my invisible kingdom,

Where I grief and laugh, and sometimes I play:

When I’m kind of sober I preach wisdom,

But when I’m naughty you may be my prey;

Come, swim in my ocean, unfold your tide,

Don’t fear the majesty of my heart’s sound;

It’s the rhythm of your love I carry inside.

Your eyes are a temple carries my love around,

In the dangerous worlds of your region;

Hold my hand tight and put me to the train,

Or take me hostage, one of your legion.

Seize me in your kingdom or sell me again:

I hope you don’t let me- fall down the stairs,

If you no get me, then who else would cares.

Words given: Kingdom ~ sound ~ reigns ~ tidal ~ prey ~ stairs ~ train ...

red velvet

You stare at me with those intense dark eyes

and look right through me,

your soul sipping inside of me,

my body trembeling slightly from that deep stare.

I trace my fingers against your skin,

its texture almost velvety and so smooth,

I close my eyes

and hear your words,

that you speek with so much kindness

I smile

and then tremble again,

as your voice is almost raspy

driving me crazy as I hold you closer,

and the words that you speak to me

are filled with all of this passion

and strong love that you have for me

you put your arms around me

and I feel safe

‘I am home’

EEP!

A purple monster stopped me on my walk to the beach. I just heard an Oink! But I couldn’t spot any pigs around. And I wondered where it came from. When I looked behind me I couldn’t believe my eyes.

It was a really tall monster, with one giant eye. The monster hunter had two horns on the top of its head. Its horns had colorful stripes/parts around them. And it had strong clawed hands & feet. Oh, I hoped I wasn’t going to be it’s meal.

The monster asked for directions to the movie theater. I asked what movie it was going to see. The monster replied, “The Flower Puzzle.”

I smiled and waved goodbye as the monster drove away in a bright pink-spotted/dotted car. I had told the monster where to go. The theater wasn’t too far from the Ocean game store.

Whew. I was safe. But I had no idea there were monsters in this city.

Ignoring The Games Inside

The race was set,

And the writhing

Mass was lead!...

...But they weren't

Only a mass, now,

Were they?...

...This mass consisted

Of individuals...

And for the

Bloated couples

Watching

The games at home,

And modeling their lives

After these facsimiles

Of humanity,

(Thus ignoring the

Games inside)

It was a match to

The end

To determine who

Would destroy

The other first,

And with what

Blunted tool.

The pushpin

Of their naked flesh

Was like a house

With no rhapsody,

And that was indeed

Where they lived,

As even the fight had

Trickled out the wall cracks...

The wind whistled through her

As if she were made of paper...

...A gust from a hole in glass

Crippled his spine,

And made him hunch

Further towards the ground...

These two

Were blind, and

Completely beyond

Attemping a cartography

Of the acreage

Free of their own

Singular

Inferno...

The race was set,

And the writhing

Mass was lead!...

...But they weren't

Only a mass, now,

Were they?

The End Line

—we’re sliced open

like a paper cut

of some presorted

ready printed

return-stub...

that the entire

World itself

would now

envelop—

—in our own

delivery wrought—

to the dump...

of some senseless

office run reeking

with blood from

the other side

of the mouth

that our tacit

seal & stamp

of approval

won—

...these drips of

evidence trail

—on the sidewalk

where footprints

lead to a drop

box of words in

mis-translation

caught...

draining into

eyes and ears

to then be

vomited

from the gut—

we did our Job

...said nothing—

or so we thought

...now we would

slip through that

grated slot—

escape our ghosts

casually sold

into those

country slums

while getting

business done...

we’re drowning

from the channels...

and the trades...

underground

a foreign gargle...

...one we refused

to hear is now

so very loud

and all too clear

to understand

—to fully feel—

conveyed in a

language we

have come to

know as real

that stabs-back

at our very

conscience—

with vivid

spitfire as the

World’s inner

gutters cry out in

their chosen

tongue

Poem (Made from Khorsegirl’s Words)

I had friends, lots of friends,

But over time I left them behind.

For each there was a reason,

The biggest was that they turned on each other,

They all became overcome with hate.

This replaced their love,

I hate to say this, for I truly loved them.

Now I barely have any,

You could say I am lonely,

But I won't be for long.

Here I sit,

Alone with a book.

A gift from my beloved,

Before he left me.

He left me for a girl,

A girl known to be drowning in silver.

So rich she could rule the world,

Or so they said.

None of that matters now,

He is gone.

My only true friend sits beside me today,

Who you ask?

There isn't anyone sitting beside me.

Yes there is you just aren't looking,

Close enough.

Look closer.

Yes,

It is a flute.

Music has been my salvation from this world,

This world full of hate, love, lust, pain, desire, hope,

This barely balanced world.
