Mommy?

“Mommy, who is she?”

I ask, and ask, but I never get an answer. She’s always busy, but she still finds time for me. Sometimes, she takes me to get ice cream. Sometimes, she reads a book to me before bedtime. She always kisses me before I go to school, and always gives Daddy a goodbye kiss too. She picks me up from school every day. I like ice cream and books and school, but I don't like her.

Mommy always sings me to sleep.

Mommy never forgets to do our secret handshake before school.

Mommy hasn't bought me ice cream since the day this lady killed her.
