I was in a dream, and all of a sudden I said, "Wait. I think I might be dreaming." So I looked at my hands. I had twelve fingers. Twelve fingers? I looked again, and there they were, clear as day. "I'm having a lucid dream!" I exclaimed, but got so excited that I woke up.

Too bad, I had a lot of plans in the dream world.

A chess queen told me to bow down. " No!!" I screamed. She faded. The king appeared. " You disobeyed my WIFE". He boomed. I flinched, but soon remembered my power. " You bet I did," came my snotty answer. He disappeared! " I will fly!" I said out loud. Up I went. " I'm gonna fly to Peter Pan!" I commanded. Instantly I started twirling in the air. Up and up I went. Dizziness took over. When I finally landed, Captain Hooks ship sat in front of me. I was about to run away, then it hit me: this was a lucid dream! I was dreaming! Excitement bubbled through my stomach. I can control my dream!! Oh wow! WOW!! My next stops included ice cream land, light land, and going on a cruise ship! I'll never forget that lucid dream.

In a church there was chaos

things flying everywhere

light shifting like a kaleidoscope

As I walked down the aisle.

Someone approached me saying,

"Welcome, Teacher."

I raised my hands

there were robes covering me

my feet were bare

and everything calmed.
