While I do understand the need for secrecy, and appreciate that answering sensitive questions requires diplomacy and tact, please tell me;

Why are we, your employers, never polled on matters of spending priorities? It is more than annoying when our monies are spent on ministers pet projects and white elephant constructions such as the Millennium Dome, that offer little or no return on the many millions wasted on them. Especially when our forces are so inadequately equipped, and so many hospitals are crying out for investment.
